So if you’re like me, and you never have you ducks in a row before the sale comes, I am here to give you some shopping ideas! I took the day off today to finally shift through the sales and make some last minute purchases!
Thankfully Australia is ahead of US/UK so by the time you see this purchase hopefully the sale will be continuing on!
So one of the sales I really wanted to jump on before it ended was the amazing 30% off everything sale at mango. I have been itching to geting a lot of their earrings for a while now, and this came at the perfect time! Unfortunately one of the statement pieces that I was really hoping to purchase was out of stock… but none the less here are some of my picks from mango!
A lot of you guys comment the set of necklaces that pretty much do not leave me neck. Unfortunately it’s pretty much custom-made as I bought each piece individually. However after seeing Lucy from FashionMeNow rock the Missona jewellery she collaborated on, I’ve been obsessed with it. Unfortunately it does come at a pretty penny, so to be able to have an amazing 25% off all full price items might just be the excuse I need to finally bit the bullet!
Now I didnt really purchase anything from ASOS this time around, but that’s because I’m still waiting from my order from the last purchase! They recently had 30% off during Click Frenzy in australia, and I was able to score a bit of a better discount. But hey, 20% off everything is still a pretty darn good deal. So want to know what I bought?
So I typically do not shop from boohoo as the quality doesn’t tend to be amazing, but I have to say they’re GREAT for basic tops/slogan tees/graphic tees especially if you dont have to have to spend $30-50 on an otherwise basic top! For 50% off all full price items… how can you go past that amazing deal!
Anyways, that’s it you guys! Hopefully that helped! Let me know what you ended up picking up from the sale!
Spring is among us, and what better way to celebrate that by wearing… black! I know what you’re all thinking… that it’s not the most spring-appropriate colour, but I’ve been dying to wear this top and now that it’s warming up I can actually wear it without having to wear anything on top! Of course I bring a blazer “just in case”, but it has been so free-ing to wear some shorter sleeve shirts. And this one in particular I love the bell sleeve detail that I’m still not sick of, and I can actually finally wear it without having to hide the sleeves under a blazer!
Oh and did I mention this was my Balenciaga bag’s first big day out? Oh yes, it was. And she was perfect. Can you believe that inside that bag right now is actually a 13 inch macbook pro! Such an amazingly functional and rocker chic bag, I can help but feel cool everytime I wear her!
Its the last day of winter, but it’s still as cold as ever. Burgundy is one of my favourite colours to wear. It’s such an easy colour that provides enough colour, but still keeping it neutral. I also think that it really complements any skintone, especially for my fellow caramel babies out there. Obviously my brother did too because when we left the house we were twinning in burgundy! It’s so funny that the coffee cups also ended up matching my outfit colour palette! ha.
Now just a brief note about this gorgeous vintage LV. It’s actually the cartouchiere PM and believe it or not, it’s the same age as me! 27 years old! It’s the smallest of the cartouchiere line, and is almost the same size as the chanel mini square (but slimmer). I just love the pop of LV print to an outfit, and I think that the vintage style is just so sweet!
This is one of my favourite shoots so far, and I just loveeee how these denim culottes from Mango look! I have only recently discovered the MANGO online website… and holy, I went a little cray. The reason I went on the website was because I was looking for the Chloe tie mule dupes that everyone on instagram have been going crazy for.. and then I discovered their denim. In particular these cute pair of denim culottes. And how amazing are they?? If you’re petite like myself, you can understand how frustrating it can often be to style culottes, so to have been able to find this on sale, not to mention in the exact size I need…. YES PLEASE!
For anyone interested in also getting a pair, look out for culottes with a straight slim leg. I know, “slim leg” is a bit of an oxymoron for culottes, but what I mean is that you often see the wide leg pants that get so wide it almost looks like a skirt. No. While 6 feet models can pull that off, if I did that I would literally look like a smurf. lol. Ofcourse it also doesn’t hurt to wear a gorgeous pair of stiletto mules (can you tell I’m in love with these wittner ones?).
It’s not quite the milestone, I’ll admit that, but for some reason “27” resonated with me. This number feels the most relevant to me. Is that weird?? I have found that some birthdays come and go, and 26 was one of them. Although I enjoyed what being 26 years old had to offer, I’m excited to see what my 27th year will bring. It’s a hard number to swallow, especially since it means only 3 more years until I’m 30… because honestly sometimes I feel like not a day over 21!
Yesterday I had on the outside a very simple extraordinary day… but it couldn’t have been more perfect. My boyfriend of 7 years flew in to stay with me for the week, and I was able to spend it with all 4 of my siblings together! No one was working, no one was too busy, and to be able to just have that day to spend with my younger siblings, doing something we all enjoy was such a blessing. With the Pokemon Go craze at the moment, we couldn’t pick anything better to do than catch Pokemon at Semaphore. Yes, you can roll your eyes at how media and technology has warped today’s perception of fun… but just leave the people be. It is what it is – it’s fun. Anyways, it was a thoroughly enjoyable day, and the night was even more perfect to have been able to spend it with some of my closest friends in Adelaide… topped off with finally being able to wear my HG Vintage Chanel Classic Flap. Oh Mumma.
