So when my boyfriend saw this photo, he said I looked like a black ninja from Tekken ready to start fighting. And I don’t blame him!
I’ve been absolutely loving the culottes/wide leg trend lately that is still going strong, and I know it’s quite hard to pull it off especially when you’re more on the petite side. Unfortunately we cant just slip into whatever fashion item is trending at the moment and call it a day. For example this outfit would have easily looked terrible had I not tucked the shirt in and worn heels. By wearing heels I’ve given myself some height needed for the culottes to give that height from the floor, and by tucking the shirt in, adds more to the illusion of longer legs. Of course, it doesn’t hurt to have an amazing accessory such as this YSL Tassel Clutch bag to go from casual to effortless chic 😉
These pants from Topshop have been such a great addition to my wardrobe lately. If you follow me on youtube, you would have seen me haul them quite a while ago.They can be easily dressed down with a causal shirt like this for weekend wear, or worn with a sharp shirt dress it can also be worn for work or for a dinner event!
